My name is Fumie Suzuki, the sponsor of fumiworks embroidery.

“I don’t need to learn how to make all kinds of embroideries. Just my favorite ones.”

“I want to make one suitable for my house, but I don’t know how.”

Words like these by my students are the reason why I established fumiworks embroideries.

We at fumiworks embroidery, want to help teach students how to create the embroideries they want to by themselves.

So we will listen to our student’s wishes and help them reach their embroidery goals in any way we can. So things like helping them design the embroidery itself or just choosing the right cloth and thread to create it, we will be there every step of the way.

We offer small classes.

We mainly teach white thread embroidery like Schwalm, drawn work, Hedebo, Ruskin lace, shadow work, Reticello, Aemilia ars, casalguidi, Mountmellick, initial embroidery, etc.

Throughout the world exists al different kinds of embroidery styles and methods. There are no walls in the world of embroidery, allowing for limitless possibilities of creation.

Tradition and techniques are essential, but it’s not everything.

I like beautiful things, and I want to create them.

The more I learn about embroidery, the more things to discover and learn about it appear. Even a lifetime isn’t long enough to learn all that you can.

I will keep moving forward and continue to learn as much as I can so that I can help my students create their very own beautiful embroideries.

I would like to thank everyone who understands and helps me.

Thank you so much.

I am going to bring the latest information about lessons and works on this website and Instagram. I would be very grateful if you kindly wait for it, even if I would not be able to update frequently.
